Time Management

Now that football season is over now I can get back to more of my activities. But still on of the most important things is time management because it is hard to balance sports, school and most importantly God. I have been doing great with balancing school and sports. But for some reason even though I am reading my bible and giving that 20 min. out of my day that I have. I just fell like I am not spending enough time with God during the day. So i was just wondering if any of you had some ideas to help me find a way to getting more God in my life?

Hey Boomer, that's great that you have noticed that and are taking action. One thing you can do is get up extra early in the mornign, say an hour or so, and read some of God's Word, meditate on it, and spend some time in prayer. You can also do the same but stay up late, depending on if you are bette at night or in the morning, but it is always really reviving to be in God's Word in the morning and have that with you all day. Also just be praying all day, no matte where you are, and I recommend memorizing verses like we did in Stoneybrooke:) Get some guys to hold you accountable, too. Boomer great post, I am going to keep this in my prayers. Keep it up!!!

well i think the best way to never forget to add God in your day is to surround yourself with christian friends who are giving there time to the Lord and having him be the priority and they will help hold you accountable as well as hopefully you to them. there are many more ways you could start by prayin about it as well and getting more involved in church activities. well i hope that helped.

i think managing our time is something everyone struggles with... at least i do...

haley and brandy had some great suggestions... im definitely a fan of staying up late... but i think its also important to start your day with just a verse or psalm or something, and definitely prayer- it helps set your mind on the right stuff before school... maybe grab some another spiritual snack after you get home too...

great to see you bloggin again tho :)

I personally listen to Christian music 24/7 at school and at home. Meditating on verses, thinking of verses, talking to people, and also- praying a lot. Talking to God
